How To Recover Deleted Files?

Case 1- Recover deleted files from the recycle bin.

Whenever you delete a file it directly goes to the recycle bin of your device. The steps to restore a file from the recycle bin of your device are mentioned below- 

Step 1- Right-click on the recycle bin icon of your desktop and click on the open button from the context menu that appears on the screen in front of you.

Step 2- A long list of files appears in front of you. All these are the files that you might have deleted in the past.

Step 3- Select the file you want to recover and right-click on it.

Step 4- Select the option to restore from the context menu. The file that you have selected will be recovered and the location of the file will be the original one.

Case 2- Recover important deleted files after empty the recycle bin.

If by chance you have deleted an important file, and later you have also emptied your recycle bin, here is a list of steps you can follow to retrieve your deleted file.

Step 1- Open my computer or this PC from the desktop icons. Now select the option of this PC from the sidebar on the extreme left of your screen.

Step 2- Now select the portion that contains the option of the files you have deleted. You can also sort the file according to the file type you want to search by clicking settings.

Step 3- Select the scan option and wait for the scan to finish.

Case 3- Restore deleted files from mac. 

If you have a Mac operating system, and you have deleted some important files by mistake, you can recover your data very easily by just using the time machine option available on your device.

Case 4- Recover data from an external hard drive.

if by chance you have lost data from an external hard drive the only thing that you have to do is to connect the device to your PC and make sure that your computer has detected your hardware device. Then use the recovery software to retrieve the files.

Case 5- Recover from flash drives.

If you have to recover the lost data from the flash drive, follow the below-mentioned steps-
